Red Queen Nails – The Polished Bookworms

February went by in a blur! Somehow I managed to read the book of the month for The Polished Bookworms. Here is the mani I created inspired by the book.
Febrero pasó volando! De algún modo logre leer el libro del mes para The Polished Bookworms. Esta es la mani que hice inspirada en el libro.

Heartless – The Polished Bookworms

You guys. I did it! I actually read the book before the month ended and EVEN better I did my nails!
As some of you may know by now I am part of an online bookclub for nail lovers. We choose a book and read it and by the end of the month post our mani inspired by the book.
January’s read was “Heartless” by Marissa Meyer. And here are my nails..

TPB: Fred The Vampire Accountant (nails + review)

Another month gone. Another book read. Now time for some nail art. And a mini book review.
As you know by now I take part on an online book club (that you could join if you want) “The Polished Bookworms“. For March we read “The Utterly Uninteresting & Unadventurous Tales of Fred. The Vampire Accountant” by Drew Hayes.
The Utterly Uninteresting & Unadventurous Tales of Fred. The Vampire Accountant) por Drew Hayes.

The Polished Bookworms: Pretty Girls

So cool to be making another mani inspired by a book. As you know by now, I’m part of The Polished Bookworms book club. For February we had to read “Pretty Girls” by Karin Slaughter, and today I bring you the nail art inspired by the book.
Spoiler alert! And I’ll leave a mini review of the book at the end.

The Night Circus Nail Art (The Polished Bookworms August)

If you are new to my blog you might not know I am part of a book club for nail art lovers: The Polished Bookworms. Each month we select a new book, and at the end of the month we post a mani inspired by it. This month’s read was The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. I absolutely LOVED this book. Choosing what to do on my nails was extremely difficult, but I came up with something to represent my favorite characters and venue.

The Polished Bookworms – The Bell Jar

Hey there lovely peeps! Here’s a middle of the week mani for you!

As you know I try to post Mondays and Fridays, but since I only finished The Bell Jar on Monday I didn’t get a chance to do and post my nails until today. Why? You may ask.
Well, every month as part of The Polished Bookworms (a big group of girls who love to read and love nail art) we read a book per month and then at the end of the month we post a mani inspired by the book.
May’s read was “The Bell Jar” by Sylvia Plath.

Hitchhicker’s Guide to The Galaxy Nail Art – The Polished Bookworms

Oh no! Not Again“. Yes, Again! Last month I did read “Gone Girl” but skipped the manicure since I had no idea what to do on my nails. This month, even though I am not finished reading the book, I knew what I wanted to do on my nails, so I did.

If you don’t know, The Polished Bookworms is a facebook group for nail art and book lovers where we can share and combine our passions and create fun nail art every month inspired on the book we read for the month. April’s book was “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” by Douglas Adams.

Maze Runner Nails – The Polished Bookworms

Another month came and went. And I am amazed that I not only started the Maze Runner but I read it and finished the other two books in the series before the end of the month. Today, as part of The Polished Bookworms monthly book/nail art challenge I bring you guys my manicure inspired by The Maze Runner by James Dashner.

The Polished Bookworms – Big Little Lies

Hello Again! I am finally back blogging!

Late last year or early in January (I lose track of time when I’m on holiday) the lovely Lindsey from Wondrously Polished posted a photo on instagram and said something about a loving nail art and books and the idea of a book club. A lot of other Nail Art lovers, me included, told her is was a fantastic idea. Next thing I know I’m getting an invite to join the newly created “The Polished Bookworms”.

The book club was created for those who love both nails and books. We picked Liane Moriarty’s ‘Big Little Lies‘ as our January read, and the idea is that at the end of the month (if you want) share a many inspired by the book. This is what I came up with.
