Happy Halloween! I love an occasion to dress up as much as the next girl but Halloween is a special kind of “dress-up”. I’m a girl on a budget as you guys know by now so my costumes tend to be on the DIY side. Last year I went as Lara Jean (from the Jenny Han novels of To All the Boys I Loved Before and P.S. I Still Love you) you can see it here. This year I wanted something cute still but more of a costume-inspired look.

Feliz Halloween! Me encanta tener la oportunidad de emperifollarme* (*venezolano para arreglarse mucho) pero en Halloween es un poco distinto. Como ya saben soy una chica que vive dentro de un presupuesto apretado, soy de las personas de “hágalo usted mismo”. Mis disfraces de Halloween, lamentablemente, no son la excepción. El año pasado me disfrace de Lara Jean (de los libros de Jenny Han A todos los chicos que he amado and P.D. Todavía te amo) puedes ver mi look aqui. Este año quiería algo igual lindo pero más disfraz.

Sometimes inspiration strikes in the weirdest of moments. Like when you are about to fall sleep at night but you have to get up, sketch your next manicure and go straight back to bed. Or does that just happen to me?
The inspiration for today’s mani is somewhere between the jumpsuit I wore last Christmas Eve and my love for minimalism. I’ll try to add a photo of my Christmas outfit at the end.
A veces la inspiración te llega en lo momentos más extraños. Como cuando estas por quedarte dormida en la noche y tienes que levantarte a dibujar la manicura que te vino a la mente para poder regresar a la cama y dormir. O quizas eso sea algo que sólo me pasa a mi.
La inspiración para la manicura de hoy viene de una mezcla entre mi ropa del 24 de Diciembre y mi amor por el minimalismo.

Still waiting for some fresh weather over here. But I am dying to wear warmer clothing because of the cold. That means that the coziness will have to start on my nails with a cute plaid mani inspired by a cardigan I spotted in a store a few days ago.
Sigo esperando que refresque el clima. Quiero usar ropa abrigada por el frio pero el frio no llega. Eso significa que la ropa abrigada llegó primero a mis uñas, con un patrón de cuadros que vi en una tienda hace poco.
