TPB: Fred The Vampire Accountant (nails + review)

Another month gone. Another book read. Now time for some nail art. And a mini book review.
As you know by now I take part on an online book club (that you could join if you want) “The Polished Bookworms“. For March we read “The Utterly Uninteresting & Unadventurous Tales of Fred. The Vampire Accountant” by Drew Hayes.
The Utterly Uninteresting & Unadventurous Tales of Fred. The Vampire Accountant) por Drew Hayes.

Fred The Vampire Accountant (nails + review)

My nails were inspired by Fred, not because is his book but because I related to him the most. Some of his favorite things to do is drink wine, eat cheese and play scrabble in his highly secure apartment.

A friend of mine recommended this book months ago, but I hadn’t had time to read it. Luckily it was selected as our March read. This is a short book, a light kind of fluffy read, but personally I found it refreshing after the drama and stress of the last couple of books I read. Fred is me basically. He was turned into a vampire and instead of going wild and crazy killing people, he just kept doing what he was doing before only that now he needed to drink blood. I would have done the same. I related to this character a lot. Realizing that you need to get out there and make a little effort or nothing will ever change. It was interesting how the characters were introduced and how they became a part of the ensemble.  Not at all predictable, which was good.
