Pumpkin nail art

Halloween is just around the corner. And as my first Halloween-ish nail design I wanted to honor one of my favorite nail bloggers: Karissa from Life is Better Polished. She usually does accents one nail and showcases a nail polish, coming up with super cute and elegant looking manicures every single time.

I inspired my design in one of hers from a few weeks back. You can see it here. And here is what I did.Pumkin1

On to Nail Talk!
I did the Pumpkin on my ring finger. I don’t have a glitter orange like Karissa’s so I mixed some orange with a drop of brown to create a dark orange for the lines. For my pinky I used a green glitter polish. For my middle finger three thin coats of white. Another three coats of polish for my index finger, this time orange. And lastly a couple of thin coats of green polish on my thumb.

Pretty simple right? I sometimes think I over think my designs but others I feel like only one nail polish color and an accent is not enough. That is my eternal inner fight. Oh well, hope you like my manicure.

Polishes used:
Bissú “Geranio”, Valmy “Color 168”, Valmy Nail Art “Color 8”, Sally Hansen “Emerald City” and Sinful Colors “Snow me White”Pumkin3Pumkin4 Pumkin2

Thank you guys so much for reading me today. New TV Talk video on Monday. Maybe a new nail post as well.

Love and Smiles, Jessi
